They must be doing really well if they didn't need me to drop $300 on a pair of boots.
Walked around the tiny store looking at various boots for 20 minutes while one employee sat behind the counter staring at his computer screen and his partner adjusted boots on the shelves.
I'll gladly take my business elsewhere.
I'm a boot guy and have been dying for a pair of red wings. Just so happens my new employer gives out vouchers. The boots are great but the old guy in the store kind of depressed me. I tried several times to make a regular conversation with him about the boots. He didn't talk and I felt it was poor customer service. I know for sure these boots come with a warranty and none of this was discussed. Great boots, but if you're not a people person, stay away from customer service positions:

People need to stop reviewing the boots and start reviewing the store's employees.
Red Wing makes a good boot, they'll lean them up, replace the shoe laces and if need can rebuild the boots
